At this point, you’ve probably seen the “Ronaldo effect” on Corinthians jersey. There are so many sponsors that it looks like a Nascar uniform. All because the club needs to pay the high salaries of the number 9.

However, take a look again at the picture above. No, the sponsor under his armpit is not a coincidence. Nor it is a badly placed brand. It, actually, may be the most genius placement on a football jersey. “Avanço” is a brand of a cheap and stinky Brazilian deodorant for men. Pure genius.

Now, imagine if Corinthians was sponsored by a brand of condoms…
