Chick Young’s post on the friendly between Maradona — ops sorry — Argentina and Scotland on November 19th is a nice read. I have to say I especially like this part:

Yep. Diego Armando Maradona is, officially, Argentina’s new boss. One of the best all time players will have to work hard to bring Argentina up on the World Cup Qualifiers. Dieguito was smart though: his coordinator is Carlos Bilardo, who gave Argentina the 1986 World Cup title.
Maybe training sessions will now include “Hand of God” [...]

Can you imagine? That would be really interesting. Not really good for Argentina but interesting nontheless. Today there was an almost confirmation that Maradona will be the hermanos’ boss. It’s seems like the AFA did not even consider another man for the job and Maradona believes he is quite ready to take on the burden [...]

Basile is out. Argentina is trying to find someone to fix Basile’s World Cup Qualifiers mess. The ex-boss quit after the loss to Chile. Argentina only won one match, tied four and lost one. So things are not really jolly sunshiny for los hermanos even though they hold the third spot on the qualifiers.

I am truly, really, extremely super angry at Brazil’s stupid brainless coach Dunga. So instead of writing today, I am giving you what I feel, after Brazil’s 0 -3 loss against the Argentinians, through the words of my good friend Bruno Romani.
