Pato shines in debut match. Ronaldo awakes.

With all the pressure surrounding his every move, Alexandre Pato had all the eyes on him as Milan faced Napoli in San Siro. Playing side by side with the top footballers in the world, Pato started shy and ended the match with a beautiful debut match. Not only did he score his own goal, but also saw Brazilian team mate and idol, Ronaldo (the original one), get back into the scoring arena. What can these two bring to Milan and world football from now on?
Well Pato is definetely of to an amazing start. He has all support from Ancelotti and his team and even though the press has been puting a whole bunch of pressure on him, he doesn’t seem to be affected. I believe that playing alongside with some of the most experienced players in world (AC Milan’s players average 30 years old), and some top names out there (Kaka, Seedorf, Ronaldo, Maldini) will give the young Pato the chance to become the top guy in 2009.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, might get from the young Pato the energy he needs to keep his game up. I have say this a couple of times and I will say it again: Ronaldo is a tremenduous player, if he wants to. If he is motivated and works hard, he can go back to being the phenomenon he once was.
The timing is good. I believe we will be seeing a lot of Ronaldo, Pato, Kaka this year.
Here is Pato’s goal in bad quality video.
