German lesson #3 - getting around
By Ana on Oct 5, 2007 in German Lessons
Some people like to travel comfortably and stay at nice hotels. Some would like to, but really cannot afford. In either case, you will have to get around once you get to Austria and Switzerland. Here are some phrases that might be of good help in the kingdoms of EURO 2008.
For the one with no monenary availability for transportation:
“Wie kann ich im Zug für freies erhalten?” (How can I get the train for free?)
… also know this one “Ich wußte nicht, wo man die Karte kauft.”
(I didn’t know where to buy the tickets.”
For the one who wants to feel like Julia Roberts:
“Wo kann ich eine Limousine mieten?”
(Where can I rent a Limousine?)
For the ones who believe they are royalty:
“Wie lang nimmt es für, um zum Stadium in einem Wagen zu kommen?”
(How long does it take to get to the Stadium in a carriage?”)
Happy studying!
