Romario retired. Or did he?

We all thought Brazilian legend Romario had retired from professional football, after a statement he made to Brazilian TV Globo. But it turns out we were all wrong: Romario is actually unemployed. Yes, no club wants him even though he still wants to play. He told Globo (once again) that he could really go back to the game.

But if you got all excited to see the baixinho play, hold your horses.

He told another newspaper, O Dia, that he did in fact retire. Which I think sounds more realistic. At 40 something and without plaing for 4 months, Romario is better off working on his social image, or coaching, or playing fut volley.
