Fred: Flop of the Year in Brazil

So far, the return of Fred, ex-Lyon, to Brazilian football has been a big flop. Despite the few goals here and there, his club, Fluminense, has been having a horrible year. Not able to qualify for the finals of Rio de Janeiro state championship, the club now seats in the relegation zone of Campeonato Brasileiro. The team fired already 3 coaches – Rene Simoes, Carlos Alberto Parreira and Vinicius Eutropio.
In the past 4 matches, Fred was ejected twice. To top all this, the forward had a serious muscle injury last Thursday in the match against Atletico-MG, which will keep him out of action from 6 to 8 weeks. This happened just days later after rumors linked him to Sevilla. Below the moment of his injury:
