Espanyol’s captain, Dani Jarque, dies of a heart attack.

When it comes to footballers, the last thing we have in mind is them dieing of a heart attack. Unfortunately this is what caused Dani Jarque’s death. Espanyol’s captain and defender was in Italy for pre-season and was found unconscious in his room. He was only 26, and even though doctors tried to bring him back all efforts did not work.

Espanyol is now canceling pre-season in Italy. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
