Alex beats Kaka? Maybe he really should.

Fenerbahce superstar, Alex, is the top Brazilian player in Europe, according to a poll on Fifa.com. Yep, that is correct. He is currently beating Kaka, Ronaldinho, Alexandre Pato and all the big Brazilian names out there. There are two possibilities for this: [1] Fifa.com is flooded by Turkish readers, or [2] the world is finally recognizing Alex’s game. Option 2 would be great, but I do believe that might not be the case. Even though Alex is an amazing player, he has never had a real chance in the Brazilian national team or great exposure as compatriots Kaka, Ronaldinho and Pato. Why is that?
The guy is king in Turkey. A skillful attacking midfielder, Alex takes ownership of the game and orchestrates the match as he wishes (a feature not so good for the Brazilian Selecao, which is full of big stars). The system works in Fenerbahce, as it did with Cruzeiro back in 2003, when the Brazilian team lifted all possible trophies.
The reason why he does not get a chance? I have no idea. But that he is one of the top Brazilian players out there, playing better football thatn Kaka and co., that I have no doubts.
Here are some great moments. (with terrible background music)
