The New Galácticos: C. Ronaldo to join Real Madrid?

Oh yes, I do believe so since I’ve been reading it all over the place. Not only that but Real’s director Jorge Valdano has confirmed that negotiations are taking place. Real Madrid might be very close to bringing another top class footballer to its great squad, for really a lot of cash.

C. Ronaldo’s contract says anyone who wants to take him away from Manchester must drop £ 89 million, which makes him the most expensive player so far. However, Real’s president Florentino Pérez is rumored to have offered “only” £ 75 million, which still makes this the most expensive transaction in football business. Serious cash heh?

Now leaving the money to the side, Real is about to re-build a team full of super footballers. With Kaká already in, C. Ronaldo would join a team with amazing players like Sergio Ramos, Raúl, Van der Vaar, Casillas, Van Nistelrooy and many more. Who wouldn’t want a career chance like that? Nice job Pérez.

Now we wait and see if Real can manage to get the Ronaldo. Hopefully they will not spoil the relationship with Man U like they did last season.
