Dunga voted best coach in 2007.

Brazilian coach Dunga started the year with the right foot. After a good 2007, with a Copa America title and a lot of pressure, I have to say that he is doing a fair job. But since I was not to judge, the people in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) do think he was the best out there in 2007.
The organization got the votes from representatives in 93 countries. Slaven Bilic, from Croatia was second, and Jorvan Vieira (another Brazilian) who took Iraq to the Asian Cup title was third.
Silvia Neid, who took Germany’s womens squad to the World Cup Title got the 12th spot. Here are the first 20:
- Dunga - Brazil
- Slaven Bilic - Croatia
- Jorvan Vieira - Iraq
- Karel Bruckner - Czech Republic
- Joachim Low - Germany
- Guus Hiddink - Australia
- Otto Rehhagel - Grece
- Raymond Domenech - France
- Roberto Donadoni - Italy
- Alfio Rubén Oscar Basile - Argentina
- Luiz Felipe Scolari - Portugal
- Silvia Neid - Germany (women’s)
- Hugo Sánchez - Mexico
- Leo Beenhakker - Poland
- Alexander McLeish - Scotland
- Hugo Daniel Tocalli - Argentina (u-20)
- Marco van Basten - Netherlands
- José Luis Aragonés - Spain
- Victor Piţurcă - Romania
- Richard Páez - Venezuela

I understand if some say that I’m making this statement because of my nationality, but how can anyone take these things seriously? I have allot of respect for Dunga and Brazil, whilst also it’s fanstactic to see the Iraq coach up there. The country has gone through hell since the toppling of sadam, yet only 4 years after that event they are Asia’s best. But what makes this list almost worthless, is the fact that Donadoni is listed below Domenech. Why do I say this? The answer is simple….Italia finished ahead of France in the qualification groups. As a result i get the feeling that this list takes into account freiendlies. how else would the foul mouthed domenech score higher than roberto?
