Germany 3 - 2 Turkey

What a match. Except for shitty - TV - transmission - failure - which - made - me - miss - Klose’s - goal, there were nice plays, lots of goals and great football. But the lesson we take home today is: never underestimate thy opponent. They can come back the same way thou hast.
First Half:
It seemed like Turkey was in for a big German upset. it looked like the Germans were overestimating the Turkish power.
As the Turks kept pressuring, the bubble eventually burst. With the Germans lacking concentration, missing easy passes and not marking very well, after a throw in by Sarioglu, the ball hit the post and ended at Boral, who poked it to the goal.
But the Turkish momentum did not last long as they managed to forget that when you attack and score, you really have to defend. Well, they did not. Germany was now (a little) awake. Only 5 minutes later, Schweinsteiger shook the net after a cross from Podolski.
Could Turkey revert the situation? Could Germany start playing some decent football?
Second Half:
Germany did start playing very good football. And even though I missed many minutes due to the technical difficulties with TV transmission, it was clear that Germany was completely dominating the Turks.
Did the Turks want to lose so that they could have yet another comeback? Maybe yes.
On the 79 minute (right when the Gods decided to give us yet another technical TV difficulty), Miroslav Klose scored the second for Germany, on a header, putting Turkey is a very difficult position.
Come back time? Oh yes.
Seturk managed to score for Turkey and tie the match on the 86th minute. It’s like they do it on purpose. Rustu made a mistake and allowed a German goal, then Turkey fell behind and needed to do the regular amazing come back. Turkey scored to equalize… and Bob’s your uncle.
Or is he?
But what seemed like the regular Turkish deal, was not. On a brilliant give-and-go, Lahm scored a beautiful goal for the Germans on the 89th minute. And it was then, that Bob was your uncle.
Turkey is out. Germany reaches the final. Will it be against Spain or Russia?
