When I was in Lausanne back in 2001, I went to this amazing pizzeria called Chez Mario’s. The main thing about the place (other than the great food) are the walls: you can write and draw whatever you want on them. It is actually quite entertaining to sit down and read what other people have written.

It is in the center of the city, on Bourg street and very close to the train station. You will find yourself in the middle of local culture, in a very cozy place, surrounded by good food and service. If you are not a pizza person, try their salads or pastas.
