Football/Soccer fans Germany

Oh, how we love days full of international matches. Lots of good players, good plays, teams who play great, and teams who should be playing better.
Here are some of today’s matches. Join the line and lets review what went on on pitches around the world.

1. Brazil v Argelia - Friendly
Brazil beat Argelia 2×0. Dunga was still thinking his Copa America team would do a good job, but (with Kaka and Ronaldinho warming up the bench) the canarinha saw nothing but lack of creativity. As soon as the 2 superstars stepped in the field, the ball started smiling and the game finally developed into something called a game of football. Has Dunga learned his lesson?

2. Germany beats England 2×1. Friendly game. Beckham was glad to be home.
Even though England scored first, Germany managed to score 2 goals in the first half.
Owen had the great ability of missing the entire goal without a goalie.

3. France 1. Slovakia 0. Henry is the man.
Henry saw the goalie giving too much attention to the wall on a free kick. He shot to goal while the keeper was still entertained by his own teammates. Henry is now only one goal behind Platini, which has scored a whole lot for France (41 goals)!

4. Azurri falls to Hungary.
Hungary beat Italy 3×1 in Budapest! Enough said.

6. Portugal tied with Armenia 1×1. And yes, C. Ronaldo scored for Portugal.
Portugal is now 3rd on group A (with 15 points) and Armenia holds the 8th position (with 8 points). Both teams are one game behind leader Poland and Finland.

AND THE GRAND FINALE !!!

Argentinians hit the bottom of the bottle! The team cannot get itself together since the loss to Brazil (yeay!) in Copa America.
Today, the Hermanos lost to Norway 2×1.
Without Tevez, Ayala, Crespo and Riquelme, Argentina bet all its pesos on Lionel Messi. But the one who took all the pennies home was John Carew, who scored the 2 goals.
