The Polish team is playing safe. Coach Leo Beenhakker, has selected a squad of 25 men for the EURO 2008 qualifying matches against Portugal, on September 8th, and Finland, on September 12th.

The stand-by list consists of: Jerzy Dudek, Jakub Wawrzyniak, Rafał Murawski, Maciej Iwański, Ireneusz Jeleń and Paweł Brożek. Poldan has 19 points and is at the top of group A, followed by Finland and Portugal.
