What fans are saying on Rooney’s ankle injury.

England has been suffering with injuries since the beginning of EURO 2008 qualifiers. Every round there seems to be and upset and the November 21 match against Croatia at Wembley won’t be any different. Rooney has suffered an ankle injury and will be out of the pitch for about 4 weeks. BBC’s 606 site has proposed a question for fans: who will suffer more? Man United or England?
Here are some quite interesting responses on the 300 something comments (maybe more by now):
“Without sounding harsh to a talented young man this could be a blessing in disguise. We played well a few months back without him and him and owen simply do not work. I expect Heskey and owen to do the business.
If you had to pick between owen and rooney who would you pick??
owen everytime for me”
“Out for England which is even worse from that point of view.
Have the change my FF team again.”
(Now this guy was more worried about his fantasy football)
“good news, england may actually win a game now.”
“noooooooooo
it means we are gonna end up with crouch up front against croatia
even if israel do a job for us, there is no way we will qualify with junk like him on the pitch”
“Lets be honest, Englands chances of qualification are slim at best.”
GRAND FINALE:
“Your all a disgrace.
There is only one thing that will miss rooney the most and that is football. Its great to watch him play and will be a big loss to Football.
Lol English fans are so dumb and such backstabbers. Rooney was the hero in the last 2 internations now he is over-rated and over the top.
Hahahhahahahha Wum Idiots. There is nobody like rooney in Englands squad but im sure your right we wont miss on of the biggest young talents in english football.”
