Another emotional Saturday in our football lives, as we approach the last round of the qualifying games for the EURO 2008, in Austria and Switzerland. From the brave Scots to the Israeli heroes, other teams also had impressive results. Now 6 new teams have also secured their tickets to the finals in June 08. 12 places already taken, let’s have a look at the results.

Poland has had the loudest celebration! They are in after beating Belgium and qualifying for the tournament for the first time. Italy, Netherlands and Spain all won, while Croatia, beaten by F.Y.R. Macedonia, also qualified thanks to Russia’s defeat to Israel. Now France also ended up qualifying without even playing. Italy’s last minute goal got their place secured in the finals.
