Sporting really confused against Barcelona.

I did not watch the match. I watched all goals and it seemed like Sporting was a total mess, allowing easy goals and making stupid mistakes. Can anyone confirm if my perceptions are true? After the jump, video with all goals from Sporting vs. Barcelona for the Champions League.

Bordeaux managed to keep itself alive today thanks to a super (really super) nice header from Diarra. Anelka scored for Chelsea. Final result: Chelsea 1 - Bordeaux 1. See the videos of the two goals after the jump.

To keep it short and inform fast:

Chelsea still on top of its game. Scolari’s squad beat AS Roma with a nice header by Terry 13 minutes to the end. Chelsea tops group A, like a cherry (a blue one).

Manchester had no problems winning the match against Celtic at home, 3 - 0. Goals from Berbatov and Rooney. Manchester rests well on the top of group E.

Barcelona had a party with Basel, 5 - 0 (it was not much fun for the Swiss team, I have to day). Barcelona holds the first spot on group C.

Juventus took the fun away from Real Madrid and won 2-1. Del Piero and Amauri sent Juve to the top of group H, with one point more than Real Madrid.

Internazionale beat Anorthosis 1 - 0 (should have been 4 - 0) and heads group B. Adriano scored the only goal and seems to be in peace with football once again.

What a day for Berbatov. Manchester United beat AaB 3 - 0 and tops group E along with Villarreal. Arsenal put 4 goals inside Porto’s net and Real Madrid got the job done by beating Zenit 2-0 in St. Petersbourg. If you want to watch all goals I found this neat website by a French person, which is where I got Berbatov’s amazing goal from.

Manchester vs. Chelsea - C. Ronaldo is a lucky beeaaatch.

We all have to agree the match was not the greatest one. And even though Chelsea was a bit more constant on the pitch, it is a true fact that football is football and there is always that extra push that comes out of nowhere, making everything go against all odds. Today, that push decided to go for Terry’s left ankle, the minute he was taking the victory penalty shot. The same Terry who saved Chelsea on overtime saw victory slip by a few centimeters.

But let’s start with the hot topic. C. Ronaldo is a beaaaatch! Can’t deny the guy is an amazing player (nice goal today), but his cockiness just kills me. And kills him sometimes, also. The way he went for the penalty was pure “wanna-be.” I really wished Terry hadn’t missed the last penalty so we could all blame Ronaldo for the loss so that, maybe, he would bring down the cockiness level.

But nooooo… not this time. C. Ronaldo is a lucky beaaatch.

And poor Terry. The guy is a good fella. Played well, saved a winning goal… but was unlucky enough to have his ankle twisted the minute his right foot was hitting the ball.

Somme comments:

- Didier Drogba = amazing.
- Tevez = the minute pressure comes on he becomes a true Argentinian dirty player.
- J. Cole, bring that beaaatch down.
- Van Der Saar, Ronaldo owes you 2 porches and a kiss on your hands.

Truth is, Manchester’s win is due to all the players who did their jobs at penalty kicks, and Van Der Saar’s great penalty save.

Scoreless Match at Camp Nou. Manchester United 0 - Barcelona 0

It was a game with few emotions at Camp Nou. The Champion’s League semifinals began with a great chance for Manchester United: Ronaldo for a penalty kick. We are not sure if it was his cockiness or if he chickened out, but the fact is he could not make that happy ball shake Barcelona’s net.

Messi played a very nice match and Barcelona definetely had better luck with short passes. Barcelona held the match with possession football, all orchestrated by the feet of the young Messi.

But not to say I do not give enough credit to C. Ronaldo, he was pretty amazing with dribbling, even though Barcelona had him marked very tight.

Rooney was a dim start. Playing more in a more defensive role than usual.

Ronaldo, a tip for you: keep it simple.

Oh, and I wish they could have given Henry a bit more time to shine.
