It has been long since I posted the last German Lesson. So I needed to find something really good to post today. And I did. This online tool gives you a great introduction not only to the basics but also how to pronounce it. I think you can even download and mp3 file of the entire thing, put it in your player, and go venture yourself on the lands of EURO 2008.

I found a website that had some good info to help you get around Austria and Switzerland during EURO 2008. Now in today’s lesson, you will get not only the German translation, but also the Swiss German (better know as switzerdeutsch).

Some people like to travel comfortably and stay at nice hotels. Some would like to, but really cannot afford. In either case, you will have to get around once you get to Austria and Switzerland. Here are some phrases that might be of good help in the kingdoms of EURO 2008.
