They did it (FA) Mommy! But image is a bit old, but the facts are fresh. Manchester United send the FA a report pointing the finger on the fight with Chelsea last Saturday. Man U players claim it was the Chelsea peeps who started the fight.

Czech Republic will win the EURO (says RZB).

Yes, you read it. According to Austrian bank Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB), the Czechs will beat Spain in the finals after a penalty shoot out (the match will be tied 1-1). The big boys at the bank, applied the same statistical models they use to predict product evolution, bond values, etc. After all that number crunching all I can conclude is that those guys have really a lot of free time.

Yes, indeed. It seems so. The AC Milan beau is on the cover of this month’s Vogue RG. So not only do people see him as a king in Italy, but his reputations seems also pretty high in Brazil, the homeland.

Yes, that’s right. Everyone knows how the Japanese love Zico. The guy is God over there (even though he sucked as Japan’s coach in World Cup 2006). And so, Japan’s champions Kashima Antlers have made a move to “secretly” honor Zico: their new uniform is extremely similar to Flamengo’s, Zico’s heart team. Now that is love.

Trapattoni named Republic of Ireland’s New Manager

Interesting. Especially because his salary will be partly funded by Denis O’Brien, one of Ireland’s richest men.

from BBC:Giovanni Trapattoni has been named manager of the Republic of Ireland. The former Italy coach has agreed a two-year deal and will leave Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg to take charge for the game against Serbia on 24 May

A new list with teh world richest clubs has been released by Deloitte. The research analised the profit of over 20 football clubs for the 2006/2007 season. No surprises, Real Madrid was number one. Folowed by Manchester United and Barcelona (the Spanish are indeed the richest huh?)
