Brazil back to #1 spot on FIFA’s Rank.

Spain is no longer sitting at #1 on Fifa’s rank. Brazil has jumped 4 spots up after winning FIFA’s Confederations Cup and is now ranked at top, with 1672 points, for the first time since 2007. Spain is down to second, with 1590 points, and Netherlands is third with 1379.

Today the world is a little different. That is because FIFA has updated the world ranking. I know, you were feeling a different vibe right? Spain is still first. Germany up to second and Italy down to third. Netherlands up to fourth and Brazil down to fifth (Dunga’s great quest in the last qualifiers match in Brazil was the thing to blame for that. Or maybe we should just blame Dunga). Argentina is up to sixth. The end.

Brazil moves up from 6th to 4th. Spain still first. Argentina still holds the 7th spot (Hooray!). The end.

It was about time. After some World Cup Qualifying matches and a little something that went on for a month called EURO 2008, the Fifa Rankings have changed. A lot. Spain, of course hits spot #1. Italy comes in second (???) and Germany in third (shouldn’t they be in second?). Brazil has fallen to the 4th spot. But the best of all, is that Argentina (the previous #1) has dropped to 6th, which makes my day brighter and happier. Kudos to FIFA Rank today!

FIFA Rank: Argentina has everyone else on their back (!)

FIFA/Coca-Cola Rank has changed today, after two exciting rounds of EURO 2008 qualifiers and FIFA 2010 World Cup Qualifiers. Now everyone stay calm because standings hasn’t changed much and everyone’s lives can still be the same. Argentina is still first, Brazil still second, and Italy still third. However, the Argentinians don’t even have space to breathe as the difference from the Brazilians is only of 21 points.

Spain moved up, as did Czech republic. Fruits of their good campaigns in EURO 2008 Qualifiers, the two team now occupy, respectively, the 4th and 6th spot.

Germany, Croatia and Portugal stayed the same and France and Netherlands dropped a few positions.

FIFA rank shows today, Argentina on top. I guess I am at the point where I couldn’t care less since this rank changes more than Posh changes outfits (not really). The fact is, with World Cup qualifiers and EURO 2008 approaching, FIFA rank will oscillate even more.

Brazil now shows in second place while the Azzurri has fallen to the third spot. Germany went down to fifth and France up to fourth. Here are the first 10.

After a 2×1 victory over Ukraine, Italy is back to the top on FIFA / Coca-Cola men’s rank. Argentina is still holding the second place and Brazil is down 2 positions, currently holding the 3rd place.

Germany and th Netherlands are also up while France lost 2 positions and currently holds the 6th spot. Scotland has climbed 9 positions after beating France in Paris, entering the top 20 teams. The Scots hold the 14th position.
