We cried, we laughed and once again we cried seeing Scotland fall to Italy on November 17th. But people leave jobs for (3 times) bigger opportunities ($) and that’s life.
According the the fabulous News of the World, the Three Lions had a crazy night at Soho’s The Wardour club on October 27. Alright, they had plenty of time to recover (Englands next match was on November 16th) so leave those players alone and go blame the loss to Croatia on something else. What we can point out is that the players did, indeed, act in a way that would get Lindsey Lohan jealous.
England’s disaster has been causing lots of people to work their brains and try to understand what went wrong. What did went wrong? Sort of difficult to say as there were many, many factors. While searching for some answers myself, and reading what some people have been saying, I stumbled upon this great article by a fan, Robbo Robson, to English football. The opening line says a lot: “Are there any excuses? Some mild ones maybe”
