1)… when a side full of great names who can’t play well collectively faces another side which for 3 matches in a row started losing but managed to get two draws and one victory?
Answer: Fluminense scoring first through Fred (something that did not happen since April 30th) but conceiving the draw to Nautico in the second half’s stoppage time. Nautico 1 – 1 Fluminense.

2)… when a weak side faces a crowd of 72 thousand fans to watch the return of the Emperor?
Answer: Adriano scores the winning goal against Atletico-PR. Flamengo 2 – 1 Atletico-PR.

3)… when a side decides to focus on a different tournament, its reserve side is not that great and the other team is led by a young talented midfielder?
Answer: Santos, led by Paulo Henrique, easily beating Corinthians 3-1 with chances of scoring many more.

4)… when a side whose main players already are not doing well and decides to save them for a different tournament?
Answer: Coritiba getting spanked at home by Goias 3-1. The only good news for the locals was the goal of Marcelinho Paraiba.

5)… the best Brazilian side also decides to save its main players for another tournament, and it takes on a side new to first division?
Answer: Inter having no trouble to beat Avai 2-1.

6)… a side finally finds that offensive midfielder it always wanted?
Answer: Sao Paulo, in the debut of Marlos, destroying Cruzeiro 3-0.

7)… when two sides psychologically hurt take on each other?
Answer: Botafogo and Sport tie in 2 goals.

8)… when a side still drunk by a good result in a different tournament visits a side with nothing to lose?
Answer: Vitoria beating Gremio with a goal by Leandro Domingues in the last minute. Vitoria 1 – 0 Gremio. It is a must see goal.

9)… when the goalie, the best player of the team, makes a mistake against efficient scorer?
Answer: After a mistake of Marcos, Palmeiras getting a draw in 2 goals against Barueri with two goals by Pedrao, the man of strange goals. It didn’t help that folkloric striker Obina scored his first goal at Palmeiras.

10)… when a side which has consistently sucked over the years take on a newcomer to first division?
Answer: Atletico-MG drawing at home in a scoreless match with Santo Andre.

11)… when a blogger has a day job?
Answer: Sometimes it becomes hard to update stuff. Above I described the 4th round of Campeonato Brasileiro. I’m sorry for missing the last two rounds, other tournaments and any other relevant news.
