A day after helping Manchester United take the Carling Cup title, Wayne Rooney took home the award for England’s best player in 2009. Rooney got over 40% of votes of a poll promoted by the FA.

They did it again. 2 – 1 win against Aston Villa. Milner opened for Aston on a penalty kick. But Man U managed to turn the match with goals from Owen and Rooney. Well deserved. This is the fourht time they take home Carling Cup (1992, 2006, 2009 e 2010).
