Watching, Eating, Sleeping & Driving!

The past three days after leaving Durban for The Round of 16 Match in Johannesburg against Chile and then onward to Port Elizabeth have been a journey like no other. We have been constantly watching, eating, sleeping and driving ( just Ana for driving, i give support and good gossip as Im not great with a manual stick on the wrong side of the road ) After a long day on the 28th back in Joburg of match, celebration after the match, drinking in Sandton City and a quick and wonderful nights rest, at A View On Hollywood (http://www.aviewonhollywood.co.za/), we hit the road early in the morning, which is Noon for us, lol, we headed for Bloemfontein. After a wonder through the countryside for a bit we managed to make our way back to N1 for a quick route down to our destination. The B&B was great in Bloemfontein and so was the Pizza! I was so happy and full of wonderful food, yum. Off to bed early again and up on the road by Ten to try to get to Port Elizabeth before dark. Our plan once again fell through as we continually were stuck in road traffic all the way down N1, N9 and N10. Its a bit hillarious that they decided to finish the road work on a two lane highway after the cup already started, but what are you going to do! So lots of eating, snacks, since we have banned eating any more McDonalds or KFC! We also stopped and hung out with some of our Brazilian friends along the way and had another bite to eat. It started getting dark again and we still were about 200km away, oh well, maybe on the drive to Cape Town we will arrive when its light! Xx Crics
