I'm surprised Diego Tardelli was called, not because I don't think he is good, but because of everything he went through (so many problems while playing for Sao Paulo). But he's pretty good when he's working hard, and I think he is. And to comment on Kurt's comment (after 15 days) it looks like Hernanes is back (or almost there) to his top shape, and could be the guy to replace Gilberto Silva. But it could the be the saopaulino in me talking. Delayed comment. I’m surprised Diego Tardelli was called, not because I don’t think he is good, but because of everything he went through (so many problems while playing for Sao Paulo). But he’s pretty good when he’s working hard, and I think he is.

A month ago, Andre Santos, Nilmar and Ramires were domestic players. And Ramires was the guy you're asking for. I don't think anyone in Brazil can replace Gilberto Silva. Hernanes could be an option but he is not in top shape. Besides this, this is pretty much the players that you go to the World Cup. Dunga won't change that, unless an injury happens. As I see it, the only things that Dunga is not sure about are the left-backs, the reserve forwards and the reserve goalies. Kurt, the problem is that they move overseas too quickly.
