Well, I agree with that. England’s boss Fabio Capello has sent his message: unless David Beckham returns to European football by the end of the year, he can kiss goodbye to joining the English team in South Africa in 2010. Coming from the bosse’s mouth reiterates what everyone, including Becks, already knew.
Beckham got back into the national squad after playing, on loan, for AC Milan. The Rossoneri are keen to have him back which makes his return to play in Italy highly possible.
“Beckham knows well that if he doesn’t return to a big European championship in December he’ll have no chance for the World Cup,” Capello said, according to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to Goal.com, Beckham might also return to England, with either Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
