Brazil 2 – Uruguay 1. God is, indeed, Brazilian.

Ok, if you have ever heard that God is Brazilian I tell you today that it is true. Not only has Brazil found a whole bunch of petroleum, but we have also managed to win today’s match against Uruguay with a team that had no midfield and no passing abilities at all. Dunga’s blindness was no enemy for “saint” Luis Fabiano, who scored 2 goals that most players could never dream of scoring in their lives.
Dunga started off with the same team as the previous (also terrible) match, with one exception: Luis Fabiano. Midfield was dead once again. I feel like there is no one who is willing to say: “I own the midfield.” There is a gap, which makes the classic Brazilian style of football, full of precise and short passes, go down the drain.
Brazilian goalie Julio Cesar saved Brazil a couple of times, as Uruguay would not stop attacking. And Juan, impeccable as always, made sure no Uruguayans would shake Brazil’s net.
Now Dunga must be surely blind as he kept Robinho for almost the entire 90 minutes. Real Madrid’s superstar was not even able to hold the ball in his feet and created absolutely nothing. And now that I’ve started going off on him, it doesn’t hurt to add that he has to learn how to finalize better if he wants to be a top striker for Seleção.
Kaka played ok, as did Ronaldinho. But none of them really take ownership of the midfield, which bloody sucks!
All in all, a win is a win and I’ll take it, thank you very much. Brazil is now second, right behind Argentina.
