I guess the idea was to be just a soccer player. But when something has the word “soccer” instead of football you wonder who made it and if they really know what they are talking about. I think they don’t. Proof is this costume. WTF?

Yep. Diego Armando Maradona is, officially, Argentina’s new boss. One of the best all time players will have to work hard to bring Argentina up on the World Cup Qualifiers. Dieguito was smart though: his coordinator is Carlos Bilardo, who gave Argentina the 1986 World Cup title.

Now really… it’s ok to try your luck and go for a dribble or a risky play here and there. Now I just get very annoyed when people think every time they touch the ball they need to make miracles (frustrations from pick up footy).

The picture from early summer and the current one (right) show how Ronaldo is getting back into great shape. The belly seems to be going away, although the afro seems to keep the strong presence. But I have to say that is great progress since the phenomenon started training with Flamengo.
