Beautiful goal from Pato.
Alexandre Pato (the Duck) shines again. AC Milan’s number 7 scored a beautiful goal on a free kick. Milan beat Zurich and is doing very well, thank you, in the UEFA Cup.
Champions League shorty news.
Good start, dear Champions League. Here is a quick shorty of what happened.
Win of the day: Chelsea 4 – 0 win over Bordeaux (Big Phil is indeed the man).
Loss of the Day: Roma 1 – 2 Cluj (clu… what? yes. Romania’s Cluj)
WTF of the Day: Adriano scores. It will rain knives.
Rumor of the Day: will Bill Gates buy Newcastle?
Newcastle’s daddy, Mike Ashley, has decided to put the club up for sale after all. “I have listened to you. You want me out.” And now that the club’s ownership is up fluctuating, Newcastle fans are left wondering who will be the one to invest tons of money and make wonders. The name out [...]
Weekend watch: Robinho, Ronaldinho and Kaká.
Weekend will be busy. Tomorrow is Robinho’s first game with Manchester City. And it could not be against a better squad: Big Phil’s Chelsea (the club Robinho reaaally wanted to play at). It should be a great match, kickoff at 17:30 local time. Another good one will be Genoa vs. AC Milan (15:00 local time) [...]
England did quite well, innit?
I did not watch England’s match against Croatia but watching the goals and some best moments showed me and English team with both confidence and good football. The Three Lions were fast and nailed a 4-1 win against the strong Croatians. Walcott’s hat-trick was blinding!
WTF? Where is Brazilian Football?
Today I saw one of the ugliest football matches ever. Brazil played Bolivia for the World Cup Qualifiers, in Rio de Janeiro, and tied the match 0 – 0. If you are thinking that is ok, it is so very much not. Bolivia is the weakest team right now in South America and Brazil should [...]
What an awesome idea Fabián!
Dear God. What a stupid idea. Fabián Espíndola, Real Salt Lake super star argentinian forward, scored a goal against LA Galaxy. To celebrate he decided to do a lil’ flip. Bad idea. Espíndola broke his leg and the goal was annulled. Smaaaart!!!
Dunga got his independence. Brazil 3 – 0 Chile.
For those of you who don’t know, yesterday was Brazil’s independence day. It was also the day Brazil’s coach Dunga was a whisper away from getting the boot, in case Brazil lost the World Cup Qualifying match against Chile. Brazil won, 3-0. Dunga is relieved and free. Or is he? Chile is a weak squad, [...]
Robinho keeps the drama alive.
Robinho hasn’t been the smartest footballer lately. He made Real Madrid upset by telling everyone about his interest in playing in Chelsea. And after much negotiation he did not even end up at Big Phil’s Chelsea. The Brazilian striker made his way to Manchester City. Drama resolved? Not really… today, during a press conference in Brazil (where [...]
